OUR SCHOOL STRUCTURE

 

TRIS is a lay private institution structured as follows :

- A BILINGUAL DAY CARE SECTION that admits children from 3 months to 2 years and 11 months.

 

- A BILINGUAL NURSERY SECTION that admits children from 3 years to 4years.

 

- A PURELY ENGLISH PRIMARY SECTION from CLASS 1 to 6 that admits children from 5 years to 11 years.

 

- A PURELY FRENCH PRIMARY SECTION FROM « SIL-CM2 » that admits children from 5 years to 11 years.

 

- A BILINGUAL SECTION from PRE NURSERY TO CLASS 5. that admits children from 5 years to 10 years.

 

When the child gets to class 5, the parent/carer with the advice of the school head teacher makes a decision as to if the pupil will continue his or her studies  to « CLASS SIX ENGLISH » or « CM2 ».

 

This decision is to prepare the pupil who at this point is considered bilingual towards sitting the Government Common Entrance and First School Leaving Certificate Examinations in the language he or she masters best.

OUR CLASS SIZE

 

- Our limited class size of 12 pupils per class has an impressive student teacher ratio.

- In a small class, each child gets noticed and gets attention from the teacher and they all   participate and express their opinion.

- Pupils in smaller classes have higher grades and peform better in exams

- Teachers can observe and access the class as a whole.

- In smaller classes, learning is enhanced.

- Kids will connect easily with their peers in smaller classes.

- Fewer kids in class means less distraction. - Pupils and teachers can work one-on-one.

 

 

 

SECURITY

 

Our school is equipped with ultra modern video surveillance cameras  and other security gadgets.

 

This will enhance safety and security, serve as crime deterent, prevent bullying in school and aids in emergency evacuation.
